beton 2 - beton bemalen diy und coole untersetzer - diy paint your concrete
Today I wanna share with you some coasters I recently made. I completely fell in love with them, arent they cute? I can share the technique, how to paint concrete with you through that easy diy.
Make a flat, rectangular shape. Use an utensil-thing (whats the name?) for drawers for example. Let dry, then clean the surface. Use water and soap for that. It needs to be without any oil, for it wouldnt dry nice, if it was still oily on the surface (believe me, I tried - I try skipping each stepp... but, it is for the better to have it clean and oil-free.
Use painters tape to make your shapes (I made stripes and my lovey-dovey triangles). Let one color dry, then use the next one. To have a really bright yellow, try painting in with white first. Otherwise the color gets kind of dirty because of the color of the concrete.
Then the next color.
This is the exact same technique I used for those neon vases. I used test tubes as inserts and painted it with the great neon color of rico design (such a great great color). Really love those, what do you think?
