walls 1 - diamant wall art

Ihr Lieben, ich habe mir selber eine Herausforderung gestellt... Und zwar will ich ganz viele unterschiedliche Wandgestaltungen machen... Jeden Monat nehme ich mir eine neue Art vor... Und hoffe, dass so ganz viele tolle Dinge entstehen, die mein Heim persönlich und spannend machen.
Meine erste Wandkust ist eine Collage von Prints (hier gibts ganz tolle von TreeChild), einem Retro-Vogel-Print im Neonrahmen, einem Foto von den Mädels und einem selbst gemalten Diamant (denn wie so viele Leute liebe ich gerade die Diamanten so sehr....)

Was man dafür braucht sind Farben: Neonrosa (Rico Design) und Sweetheart und Blossom (Painting the Past), Pinsel und eine Leinwand (ich habe A4).

Hey guys, I wanted to share severall wall arts during the next months with you. I wanted to try several different things for my walls and challenged myself to do one new wall each month. I am really looking forward to this challenge and want to challenge all of you out there as well! Make your walls special! 
I started with an easy one... We rearranged our living room, went for some neon... and I went looking in my favorite etsy and dawanda shop for prints. I found two very cute ones from TreeChild (click) and ordered them. But I also wanted to make the wall more personal. Thats when a picture of the girls came in and I found a cute vintage print of birds, that I loved. Then I decided to give painting a try. Painting with tape... the easy way. As many of interior lovers out there, I admire diamants right now and so I decided to go for a diamant painting.

I took painters tape, some colors: Neon (Rico Design), Sweetheart and Blossom (Painting the Past), Brush and a canvas (20x30).

Einen Diamant mit Tape abkleben. Man kann das sehr genau mit Zirkel und Maß machen, hab ich nicht gemacht:D Ich habe das Freihand gemacht. Fertig. Aber es gibt auch ganz geniale Vorlagen (z.B. hier)
Tape your diamant onto the canvas. You can use a template - there are lots and lots on the internet - like this one. Or you can make your own...

Ausmalen. Eine Fläche nach der anderen, die Farben ruhig auch mal mischen. Am Schluss, wenn alles getrocknet ist, das Tape abziehen.

Dann das Bild aufhängen und sich daran erfreuen! Ganz einfach. Das Schöne? In dieser Tape Technik kann man noch ganz viel andere Kunstwerke erschaffen... Ich denke da an Bäume und Berge, Pfeile, Wolken, Dreiecke, Vögel, Häuser... Einfach alles, was ich grad so mag an Motiven!

Start painting. Begin on the outside, use several colors and mix them for the inside. Get rid of the tape!

Hang your painting.

That was easy, right.
Other cool things to paint would be... triangles, birds, clouds, houses, the sun, arrows... you name it.... What do you think of my little project?
