last minute II gifts: clipboards

(for an English translation please read after the break)

Looking for another last-minute DIY ?
Well...we got one ;)
It's quite simple, but oh so cool! We are working with paper transfer on wood and are designing our own clipboard.

All you'll need is:

- a piece of wood
- a nice patterned paper
- phototransfer medium
- brush
- clip
- glue gun

Cover the printed side of the paper as well as the upper surface of the wood with the transfer medium. Then place both wet sides on each other (yes, the pattern is going to be mirrored).
Let it all well dry, over night, or by using your hot aur tool).

Once it's dry, slightly wet the back of the paper and start rubbing of the paper.
You'll see that the pattern stays on the wood the more the paper goes.
It's normal that some parts of the color would rub off, too. But don't worry - that's just the special shabby look we are all looking for ;)

Finally you just need to glue the clip on the board, and ready is another handmade christmas gift.
